Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Rebel Smith!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Patrick Hussey!
The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, Steve Montenegro and John Kavanagh.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith swats away the attempt to clinch by Hussey.
Smith scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Hussey doesn't seem bothered though.
Smith throws a hook but Hussey avoids it easily.
Hussey tries to close the distance and clinch up but Smith swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Smith connects with a good right hand that stumbles Hussey. Hussey circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Hussey takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
A looping hook to the body misses from Smith. Hussey does a little dance to reset his feet.
Smith throws out a loose jab but Hussey uses good head movement to avoid it.
Smith slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Hussey shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Smith pinned against the cage. Smith gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
A telegraphed right hand from Smith misses the target.
Hussey follows through with a counter body kick but it doesn't land.
Hussey needs to keep his hands up - Smith had a free shot at his head there.
Smith cracks Hussey with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Smith catches Hussey with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Hussey shoots in and drives through. Smith sprawls well.
Smith avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Nice straight punches there by Smith. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Smith.

Hussey is rocked!
Hussey throws a leg kick but Smith sees it coming and checks it nicely.
Smith connects with a single shot there.
Hussey is still on wobbly legs! Can Smith finish him?
Hussey will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Hussey changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Smith tries to avoid it but Hussey manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Smith to the ground. Smith escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Hussey seems to have recovered his senses.
Rebel Smith has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Patrick Hussey.
The fight stays on the outside here - Hussey looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Rebel Smith seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Smith connects with a body shot.
Smith connects with a jab.
Smith misses with a wild body shot.
Smith looks to throw the jab but Hussey is out of range.
Smith cracks Hussey with a good jab.
Smith connects with a crisp jab.

Smith lands a big uppercut and Hussey crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Hussey looks OK. Smith waves Hussey back to his feet!
Smith fakes the body blow, causing Hussey to drop his hands! Left hook to the temple! Hussey goes stiff, and falls face first into the mat. Goodnight!
