Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dand Prem (ranked 24106 p4p, 191 weight class) and Zeru Subramaniam (ranked 6406 p4p, 170 weight class). The key to victory for Dand Prem has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Dand Prem! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
8 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Zeru Subramaniam! The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Tarja Halkonen and Anni Minnemäki.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Prem fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Subramaniam avoids it really well and circles away. Subramaniam gets a double leg takedown into Prem's guard. Prem trying to keep a closed guard but Subramaniam is proving a slippery customer.
Subramaniam stopping the sweep attempt from Prem. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Subramaniam controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Prem is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Subramaniam is aware though and is defending well.
That's one minute gone in the round. Prem looking to hit a scissor sweep but Subramaniam is one step ahead there. Subramaniam showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Subramaniam lands a couple of digs. Subramaniam is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Prem is trying to keep Subramaniam in close.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Subramaniam lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Prem circles away quickly and effectively. Prem seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter. Prem fails with the takedown. Subramaniam is trying hard to land a takedown here. Prem sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Subramaniam with a lazy takedown attempt and Prem counters with a nice uppercut. Prem defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Subramaniam. A counter left hand to the body from Prem misses its target. Dand Prem has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Zeru Subramaniam. A nice inside leg kick there by Prem. That's going to slow Subramaniam down. Prem shoots in for a takedown but Subramaniam shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Prem throws a sloppy head kick and Subramaniam moves out of range easily. Subramaniam darts in looking for a takedown but Prem gets double underhooks and turns Subramaniam into the cage. It looked like Prem was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit. Subramaniam throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Prem was covering up waiting for the punch and Subramaniam finishes the takedown easily into guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Prem wants to get back to his feet but Subramaniam is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Subramaniam not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Subramaniam would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Subramaniam keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Prem's head. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Subramaniam showing good wrestling skills to control the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Prem keeping full guard, as Subramaniam tries to pass. Subramaniam slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Prem looking to control.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Subramaniam tries to clinch but Prem is having none of it. Subramaniam steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Prem. That one must have hurt. Subramaniam fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Zeru Subramaniam will probably get the nod. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Subramaniam shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Prem pinned against the cage. Prem gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Subramaniam keeps the fight on the outside. Subramaniam is looking for the big counter here. Prem dives in for a single leg takedown but Subramaniam sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Subramaniam steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Prem. Subramaniam stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Subramaniam wants it to stay on the feet. Subramaniam is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch. Subramaniam throws a lazy right hand but Prem sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Subramaniam looks to score with a jab to the body but Prem is just out of range. Dand Prem is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Prem throws a leg kick which misses Subramaniam's front leg but catches the back leg as Subramaniam tries to avoid it. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Subramaniam fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Prem avoids it really well and circles away. Subramaniam lands a jab-cross combination.
That's one minute gone in the round. Prem wants to land a leg kick but Subramaniam is out of range. Subramaniam shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Dand Prem has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Zeru Subramaniam. Prem stuffs the takedown attempt from Subramaniam. Subramaniam gets slowly back to his feet. Prem shoots in but Subramaniam avoids the takedown attempt easily. Subramaniam fails in his attempt to clinch. Nice shot by Prem. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Prem. Subramaniam shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Prem as he avoids it easily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Prem closes the distance and clinches up with Subramaniam, looking for a takedown. Prem pushes Subramaniam against the cage but Subramaniam circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Subramaniam appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body. Dand Prem is winning the standup battle so far. Subramaniam drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Prem is pushing Subramaniam's head away, looking to escape. Subramaniam manages to hold on to the position though. Prem is looking to regain half guard here but Subramaniam keeps moving and retains side control. Subramaniam wants to control but Prem is keeping him busy. Prem tries to strike from the bottom but misses.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Subramaniam tries to advance to mount but Prem denies him. Prem manages to get back to half guard. Subramaniam lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Subramaniam prevents Prem from improving his position. Subramaniam wants to pass to mount but Prem is defending the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Prem slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Prem has his hands on Subramaniam's head, controlling the position. Subramaniam postures up.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Subramaniam wanted to stand there but Prem had control of the position.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Subramaniam misses with a head kick.
Prem defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Subramaniam. An attempted straight right counter from Prem misses the target. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Zeru Subramaniam will probably get the nod - 10:9. That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round!

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Subramaniam stops Prem from getting back to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Subramaniam with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Subramaniam working over Prem with some ground and pound. Prem looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Prem is looking to control Subramaniam's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Prem avoid being mounted? Prem is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Subramaniam's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Subramaniam's back! Subramaniam is keeping busy.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Subramaniam breaks Prem's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.
Subramaniam tries to free his leg and advance position but Prem is retaining full guard. Prem wants to sweep here but Subramaniam controlling him for the moment. Prem might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Prem looking to control.

That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Subramaniam shoots in and drives through. Prem sprawls well. Prem was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit. Subramaniam closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Prem did well to prevent Subramaniam getting side control. Prem looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Subramaniam controlling the action here. Subramaniam prevents Prem from standing back up.
Dand Prem has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Zeru Subramaniam is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Subramaniam is taking a breather. Prem says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Zeru Subramaniam. I've got Subramaniam winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
