Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Chris Dean, Summer Carpenter and Donatello Bradman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bird throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Orion was covering up waiting for the punch and Bird finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Orion will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Bird wants to control from the top but Orion keeps moving.
Orion has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Bird is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Orion can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Orion, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
