Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Denis Kang (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Armand Agasi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Armand Agasi has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Denis Kang!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Armand Agasi!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Frank Dennis and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kang throws a shot from downtown. Agasi moves away and avoids it.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Agasi connects with a nice short shot to Kang's temple.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Armand Agasi showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Agasi drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Kang dives on top into guard.
Kang has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Agasi is proving hard to escape from.

Agasi bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Kang's guard.

That's time! Kang's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

Agasi's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
The ref breaks the fighters up, due to lack of action by Armand Agasi.
Kang avoids a lazy jab quite easily.

Agasi shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Kang's guard.
Kang wants to stand and escape but Agasi is having none of it.

Both of our modern day gladiators look out of it here - an gruelling 5 rounds of action taking it's toll on them, no doubt.

Agasi lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Kang!

Agasi lands a big shot there that rocks Kang but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

Armand Agasi comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Agasi has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
