Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Bagel Boss (ranked 1976 p4p, 234 weight class) and Bill Brown (ranked 1584 p4p, 201 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Bill Brown!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brown scores with a jab to the head.

It looks like Bagel Boss has been cut.
Brown circles away from the clinch attempt
and Brown counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Boss with a lazy takedown attempt
and Brown connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Boss shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Brown as he avoids it easily.
Brown keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Bagel Boss. That's going to take a lot out of him.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Brown lands a big right hand that sends Boss crashing to the mat! Brown stays standing though and waves Boss back to his feet!

Boss shoots in but Brown avoids the takedown attempt easily.
It seemed like Brown was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Brown has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.

and Brown counters with a crisp right hand that drops Boss! Brown lets Boss back up to his feet, looking for a finish!
Oh Boss is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Boss lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Brown has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Brown and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Boss seems to have got his legs back now.

and Brown counters with a huge left! Boss is in big trouble! He's backing up but Brown isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Boss from any more damage. A dominating finish by Brown!
