The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A good leg kick by Woods.
Woods scores with a sloppy right hand. McKill should have avoided that one.
A slapping leg kick lands for Woods.
Woods throws a looping overhand right but McKill ducks down to avoid it.
McKill went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
McKill lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Woods circles away quickly and effectively.
Woods looks like he wants to counter punch here.
McKill throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Woods waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract McKill .
The fighters circling - Woods throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
McKill is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
McKill fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Woods is out of range.
A decent looking cross lands there for McKill .
Woods throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
McKill swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
A nice side step and Woods releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.
McKill tries to bum rush Woods with a series of wild strikes but Woods uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Woods has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
That's one minute gone in the round.
McKill takes a shot right to the bread basket.
McKill 's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Woods connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! McKill scrambles back to his feet.
A punch combination from McKill misses.
Woods throws a head kick that misses.
McKill throws a big counter combination but Woods scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
McKill moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Woods swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by McKill .
Woods smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
McKill tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
A nice side step and Woods releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.
