Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Manny Wall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dan Bowbish (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bowbish moves into the clinch.

Bowbish escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Wall is looking to clinch but Bowbish is avoiding it.

Wall tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Bowbish swivels and escapes.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

and Wall counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Bowbish's guard now.

Wall tries to stand but Bowbish is controlling from the bottom.
Wall pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Bowbish is keeping the position for now.
Bowbish is pulling down on Wall's head. It's preventing any offense from Wall, at least for the moment.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Bowbish swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Bowbish throws a combination. Wall tries to block but a couple of punches get through.

Bowbish manages to break the clinch.
Bowbish lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!

and Wall counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Wall.

Wall decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
A head kick misses from Wall.

Wall shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Wall was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Bowbish slips a leg in and gets back to half guard.

Bowbish is pressed up against the cage. Wall has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Bowbish down to the mat. Bowbish avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Bowbish feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Bowbish shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Wall's guard.

Wall had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Bowbish is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Wall Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Bowbish's back instead.
