Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Bill Newton (ranked 428 p4p, 58 weight class) and Steven Cold (ranked 459 p4p, 61 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Bill Newton has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Bill Newton seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cold throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Newton changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Cold tries to avoid it but Newton manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Cold to the ground. Cold escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Cold let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land.

Newton postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Cold is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Newton, into his guard.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Newton has his feet on Cold's thighs here. He's pushed Cold off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Cold screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
