The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bravo is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Chewer's half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Bravo is working for a submission of some sort.

Bravo looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Bravo takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.

That's one minute gone in the round.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Bravo seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Chewer for as long as he can get away with.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Bravo is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Chewer has managed to free his arm - good work.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Bravo looking to control and managing it successfully.

Bravo working for a submission but Chewer is keeping him at bay.

Bravo is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Chewer is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Chewer flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Bravo anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Chewer and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Bravo slips an arm under Chewer chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Bravo has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Bravo is squeezing on Chewer like an anaconda would it's prey. Chewer fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
