Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dave Miller! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ebos Lock! The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Tiny Johnson and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lock blocks the body kick.
Ebos Lock seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Miller throws a series of punches but Lock moves out of range. Miller takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Lock is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Miller throws a body punch but Lock moves out of range. Lock scoring well with a low kick there.
Lock moves into range and clinches up with Miller. Miller wants to break free but Lock has control.
Miller wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Lock misses with an elbow over the top. Miller has had enough of the clinch but Lock keeps him there for the moment. Lock looks to throw an elbow but misses. Lock's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not. Lock pushes off an throws an elbow but Miller leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the ropes. Lock is trying to maintain a safe position but Miller gets an underhook and turns Lock into the ropes. Lock lands a nice elbow from the clinch.

Miller is trying to break free. With the fighters up against the ropes, Lock throws an elbow but misses. Miller manages to break the clinch.

Lock lands an elbow that stopped Miller in his tracks for a moment. Lock slowing the pace effectively. Lock looks to throw an elbow but misses. Miller takes an elbow to the temple. Miller avoids the elbow strike from Lock, against the ropes.

With the fighters up against the ropes, Lock throws an elbow but misses. Miller pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Lock closes the distance and clinches. Miller has had enough of the clinch but Lock keeps him there for the moment. Lock prevents Miller from breaking the clinch. Miller is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the ropes. Miller wants to break the clinch but can't.

Miller presses Lock against the ropes and delivers a mid-strength body shot. Lock prevents Miller from breaking the clinch. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ebos Lock dominated that round. The cut man is working on Dave Miller's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
