Coming up we have a super heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Neil Diaz (ranked 2457 p4p, 63 weight class) and Benjamin Kueller (ranked 2433 p4p, 97 weight class). Neil Diaz could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Benjamin Kueller's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Neil Diaz!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 16 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Benjamin Kueller!
The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Taro Takaoka and Yuuki Gou.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Diaz on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Kueller. Kueller obviously looking to wear him down.
Kueller swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Kueller looks to land a combination but Diaz avoids it well.
Kueller connects with a right hand. Diaz shakes it off.
Benjamin Kueller seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kueller swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Diaz counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Kueller has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Kueller tries to clinch up
and Kueller takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Kueller shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Diaz was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
Diaz takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Kueller shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Crunch! Kueller slams his shin into Diaz's torso.
Kueller throws a sloppy head kick and Diaz moves out of range easily.
A counter left hand to the body from Diaz misses its target.
Diaz blocks a low kick nicely.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
An inside leg kick lands from Diaz.
Kueller scores with a slapping inside leg kick.

Kueller moves into the clinch.

Diaz manages to break the clinch.
Kueller tests Diaz's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Kueller falls off balance throwing a combination
and Diaz counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Diaz tries a low kick but Kueller avoids it.
Diaz checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Neil Diaz is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Kueller throws a right hand that misses
and Diaz counters with a low kick, right behind Kueller 's knee.
Kueller dodges the punch combination from Diaz.
Kueller misses with an attempted mid kick.
A counter left hand to the body from Diaz misses its target.
Diaz misses with a right hand
and Kueller counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Kueller throws a shot from downtown. Diaz moves away and avoids it.
Diaz tried to counter with a leg kick but Kueller avoided it.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Diaz staying out of range there.
Kueller swings and misses with a shot to the body
and Diaz counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Kueller walks into a big right hand from Diaz and goes down! The referee sends Diaz to a neutral corner as Kueller gets back to his feet. He looks OK so we're back under way.
Diaz connects with a body shot that sends Kueller's belly button to the back.
Diaz checks a low kick from Kueller.
Diaz fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Diaz will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Diaz scores with a jab to the head.
Kueller throws out a leg kick but Diaz moves out of range and Kueller only half commits.
A chopping leg kick lands by Kueller.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Diaz throws an off balance right hand
and Kueller counters with a good low kick that Diaz was not able to check.
Kueller goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Good work by Diaz as he checks the leg kick.
Kueller throws a sloppy head kick and Diaz moves out of range easily.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Neil Diaz should take that round, based on the knockdown.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the ring so we can get back down to business.


Kueller throws a low kick, looking for Diaz's leg but Diaz calmly moves out of range.
Diaz dodges the punch combination from Kueller.
A good leg kick by Kueller.
Diaz moves away from the strike by Kueller.
Kueller lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Diaz circles away quickly and effectively.
Kueller slips a jab and a cross from Diaz.
Diaz's corner calls for a 1-2. Diaz obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Diaz throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Kueller stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

and Diaz counters with a low kick, right behind Kueller 's knee.
A punch lands to the side of Diaz 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Kueller misses with a kick to the body.
Kueller bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Diaz's head.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Diaz lands with a thumping leg kick.
Diaz throws a body punch but Kueller moves out of range.
Kueller throws a head kick but Diaz moves out of range.

Kueller ducks into a a hook from Diaz and goes down! He looks in a bit of a mess; will he beat the count?! 4,5,6,7,8 - he's up and looking to carry on! The referee looks into his eyes and sees that he's OK to continue!


Kueller is rocked!
Diaz misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Kueller is still on wobbly legs! Can Diaz finish him?
Neil Diaz is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Kueller looks to land a left hand but Diaz moved out of range nicely.
Diaz is looking for a counter combo.
Kueller tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Diaz went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Kueller seems to have recovered his senses.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Diaz crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Kueller - the referee stops the clock and Diaz gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Kueller. Diaz manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Diaz digs a good body shot into Kueller's ribs.
Diaz connects with a crushing straight, right on the bridge of Kueller's nose, sending him crumpling to the mat! That's really rocked Kueller - is he going to beat the count??? 4,5,6,7,8,9.....10 - he's not made it - this one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:44 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punch). Neil Diaz!
A very excited looking Neil Diaz made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
