Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Kenny Knight (ranked 5193 p4p, 513 weight class) and Mad Dog Malone (ranked 6477 p4p, 569 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Malone's choice of entrance music: Bad Boys - Inner Circle. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
10 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Kenny Knight! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
10 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mad Dog Malone! The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Cecil Peabody and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Malone works Knight's body with a nice hook. Malone getting the better of the striking in that exchange. Malone is looking to score with low kicks. Malone has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Malone lands with a slapping head kick. A slapping leg kick lands for Malone.
Knight avoids a lazy jab quite easily. A leg kick checked by Knight. Knight misses with a hook. Malone looks for the body kick but Knight saw that one coming. Jab from Malone. A solid leg kick lands there for Malone.
A head kick misses from Malone. Knight rushes Malone and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! A short right from Malone on the inside. Knight gets a trip takedown into half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Malone looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.

We've been hearing good reports from Knight's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Malone slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Knight looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Knight stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Malone. Knight blocks a leg kick. Malone looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Knight half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range. Malone connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Malone connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Knight's hands. Knight checks a leg kick nicely. Mad Dog Malone seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Knight moves away from the strike by Malone. The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky. Malone pushing out the jab but it's not landing. The fighters circling - Malone throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Knight moves out of range as Malone strikes. Ouch! a nice leg kick from Knight, right into the meat.

Mad Dog Malone dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Malone takes a swing at Knight's ribcage but misses. Malone connects with a body shot. Malone digs a good hook to Knight's body.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Knight fails with a takedown attempt.
That's one minute gone in the round. Knight staying out of range there. Malone slips a jab from Knight. It seemed like Malone was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. Malone jabs at Knight's body. Malone misses with a leg kick and Knight counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Malone! You can see the frustration on Malone's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Malone is trying to improve his position. Malone wants to control but Knight postures up. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Malone is looking to reverse the position. Knight thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Knight tries for a kimura but Malone is defending well. Knight working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Malone is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Knight has just dragged him back down to the mat. Malone is trying to control Knight's posture but Knight avoids it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Knight swings around for an armbar but Malone sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Knight's guard. Malone sitting in guard here, content to control. Knight working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Malone doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Malone manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Malone stands and throws Knight's legs to the side, diving into side control. Knight tries to improve position but can't. Malone is looking to take a break and control but Knight is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Knight is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Malone asserts his dominance and retains side control. Malone has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Malone trying to control the position but Knight is working away.

Knight is rocked! Knight shoots in and drives through. Malone sprawls well. Oh Knight is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Both fighters are breathing heavily. Malone connects with a solid leg kick. Knight seems to have got his legs back now. Malone misses with a looping left. Knight tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Knight blocks a leg kick. Malone lands a jab to the head.

Knight is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Malone doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Knight. Malone keeps control of the position for the meantime.

Kenny Knight has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Malone is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Malone is concentrating on defense, preventing Knight from advancing position. Malone is trying to maintain the position but Knight is very close to passing his half guard. The crowd cheers as Malone lands an impressive looking overhand right. Knight doesn't seem phased though. Knight ducks right into an uppercut from Malone. Mad Dog Malone seems to be getting the better of the standup. Malone lands with a right hand. Knight takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. A solid leg kick lands there for Malone.
Knight ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Malone connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
And that's the end of the fight! Mad Dog Malone comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Malone winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
