The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ronaldo wants to clinch up but Gracie keeps it at a distance.
Ronaldo takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Ronaldo shoots and misses
and Gracie counters with a stiff right hand.
Ronaldo shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Ronaldo takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Ronaldo tries to clinch but Gracie moves out of range.
Ronaldo takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Gracie connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Gracie lands a big head kick that sends Ronaldo tumbling to the mat! Gracie takes a step backwards and waves Ronaldo back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Ronaldo is rocked!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Gracie connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Ronaldo is still on wobbly legs! Can Gracie finish him?
Gracie lands a big uppercut and this one is all over! His foe lies motionless on the canvas - a massive one punch knockout!
