Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mo Murder (ranked 4475 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yvan Dumas (ranked 5618 p4p, 406 weight class). Dumas has chosen Time Stand Still as his entrance music. Yvan Dumas will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Mo Murder! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Yvan Dumas! The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Ian Loll and Trevor Gratis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Murder moves out of range of the body kick from Dumas.
Murder half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range. Murder defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Dumas. Murder tries to counter with a takedown but Dumas is quick to defend against it. Dumas shoots for a takedown but Murder saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Murder appears to be looking for a counter takedown. Dumas shoots in and drives through. Murder sprawls well. Mo Murder has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Yvan Dumas. Dumas shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Murder pinned against the cage. Murder gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Murder drives through with a takedown into Dumas's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. Dumas kicks Murder off and gets to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nice straight punches there by Dumas. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Dumas. Dumas shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Horrible takedown attempt by Dumas or perhaps it was just good defense by Murder, which made it look bad. Murder changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit. Dumas pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Excellent takedown into side control there by Murder. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Murder is putting a hurting on Dumas here, landing some big shots from side control. An elbow from Murder crashes against the mat.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Dumas takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! The referee tells the fighters to keep busy. Dumas pushes Murder away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Murder gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. Murder controlling from side mount.
That's two minutes gone in the round. You can see the frustration on Dumas's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Dumas looks winded! Murder working the head and body with strikes. A big shot lands for Murder! That's hurt Dumas! Will he recover? Murder fires away with more strikes and the referee has to step in to stop the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:38 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Mo Murder!
