The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Prevot moves into range and clinches up with Schallony.

Schallony manages to break the clinch.
Prevot shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

It looks like Guilhaume Prevot has been cut.
Prevot on the wrong end of a nice hook.

Schallony tries to keep at a distance but Prevot has taken the fight into the clinch.
A head punch on the inside from Prevot fails to land.

Prevot breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Schallony throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
letting Prevot counter with a right hand.
Schallony scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Schallony connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Prevot steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Schallony.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Prevot moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Prevot walks into a stiff left hand from Schallony.
Prevot fails in his attempt to clinch.
Prevot on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Prevot fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Prevot closes the distance and pushes Schallony back into the ropes.
Prevot is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Schallony is defending well for now.

Schallony escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Schallony swats away the attempt to clinch by Prevot.
Schallony lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.

That has opened up Guilhaume Prevot's cut even more.
Schallony jabs Prevot right on the nose. Prevot blinks but takes it well.

Prevot told us before the fight that he's been working on his elbows. An under utilised technique these days - let's see if it can sway the outcome of the fight.

Schallony scores with a nice strike.
Prevot misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Schallony cracks Prevot with a left hand that drops him to the canvas, up against the ropes! Can Prevot get back up in time? 3, 4, 5, 6, 7... he's on one knee... 8, 9... he's up! 'Walk towards me' says the referee. Prevot looks steady enough to continue so we're going to continue!

The cut above Guilhaume Prevot's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Schallony throws a right and a left that Prevot avoids nicely.

Prevot clinches up against the ropes.

Schallony breaks the clinch.
Prevot walks straight into a big right, left combination from Schallony and drops to the floor! Oh, he's out cold! He's out cold! Wow, that finish was brutal! Congratulations to Schallony as he moves his way up the rankings!
