Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Bendik Opedal (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nate Anderson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Nate Anderson!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Gwen Towbar and Chris Downing.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Opedal slips a jab and a cross from Anderson.
Anderson throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Anderson stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Opedal.
Anderson stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Opedal takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Opedal misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Anderson tries to clinch there but Opedal circles away.
The fighters circle momentarily. Anderson darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Good standup being displayed there by Anderson as he connects with a hook.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Opedal tries to land a knee to the head but Anderson blocks with his arms.
Anderson wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Opedal has him pressed against the ropes.
Opedal is trying to drag Anderson to the mat but Anderson just about manages to keep his footing. He used the ropes to his advantage there.

With the fighters up against the ropes, Opedal throws an elbow but misses.
Anderson is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Anderson wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Anderson has had enough of the clinch but Opedal keeps him there for the moment.
Anderson wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Opedal has him pressed against the ropes.

Anderson throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Opedal stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Nate Anderson dominated that fourth round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Opedal. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.

Opedal takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

Nate Anderson is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Opedal.
A lazy left from Anderson finds it's target.

Nate Anderson comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Anderson winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
