Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Akkan Kubilay (ranked 1030 p4p, 117 weight class) and Yusuke Urameshi (ranked 640 p4p, 78 weight class). Urameshi comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Smile Bomb kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Akkan Kubilay looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Gwen Towbar and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Urameshi cracks Kubilay with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Urameshi changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
We've been informed that Urameshi has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Urameshi throws a hook but Kubilay blocks it.
Kubilay throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Urameshi tests Kubilay's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Urameshi blocks a head kick by Kubilay.
Urameshi scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Kubilay doesn't seem bothered though.
Kubilay is breathing heavily.
Jab, jab by Urameshi - just one landing.
Urameshi cracks Kubilay with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Kubilay tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Urameshi pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Kubilay is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:27 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Yusuke Urameshi!
