Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Magomed Magomedov (ranked 6066 p4p, 448 weight class) and Richard Skjold Hansen (ranked 22818 p4p, 468 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 16 - 0, fighting out of New York, Richard Skjold Hansen!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Magomedov throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Skjold Hansen was covering up waiting for the punch and Magomedov finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Skjold Hansen is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Magomedov dives into side control.

Skjold Hansen is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Magomedov tries for a kimura but Skjold Hansen is defending well.

Magomedov is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Skjold Hansen is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

This has been an exciting period of action!

Magomedov is working to tighten his grip on Skjold Hansen's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Skjold Hansen has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Magomedov is really squeezing tight and eventually Skjold Hansen passes out! Magomedov breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
