Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Altair Brain (ranked 2059 p4p, 0 weight class) and Goji Kano (ranked 22927 p4p, 0 weight class). Brain comes to the cage accompanied by 300 Violin. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
30 - 17 - 1, fighting out of New York, Altair Brain!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
12 - 10 - 0, fighting out of New York, Goji Kano!
The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, Reed Andrews and Bruno Lombardi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kano tries for a takedown but Brain circles away easily
and Brain counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Kano on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Brain. Brain obviously looking to wear him down.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Brain moves into the clinch.
Kano has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Brain avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Brain is working Kano over against the cage.
Kano tries for a takedown but Brain manages to get underhooks.
Altair Brain has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Goji Kano.
Brain's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Brain smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Goji Kano seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Kano.
Brain lands a jab.
Brain lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Kano.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Kano tries to keep at a distance but Brain has taken the fight into the clinch.

Brain's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Kano has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Brain.
Brain ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Altair Brain is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Brain connects with a leg kick. Kano looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Kano shoots for a takedown but Brain saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Brain lands a two punch combo.
Brain tests Kano's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Nice shot by Brain.
Kano is rocked!
Brain has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Kano with a poor takedown
and Brain counters with a huge left! Kano is in big trouble! He's backing up but Brain isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Kano from any more damage. A dominating finish by Brain!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:35 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Altair Brain!
An out of breath Altair Brain thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
