Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, Steve Montenegro and John Kavanagh.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gallo shoots in looking for a takedown. Al Abdullah tries to sprawl out of it but Gallo keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Al Abdullah manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Al Abdullah looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Al Abdullah tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Gallo manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Al Abdullah tries for a takedown but Gallo circles away easily
and Gallo counters by moving into the clinch.
Al Abdullah wants to take the fight to the mat but Gallo manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Al Abdullah wants to sweep here but Gallo controlling him for the moment.

Al Abdullah fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

Gallo is wriggling around trying to escape.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Al Abdullah lands a couple of good shots and Gallo has given up his back, trying to escape the position!
Gallo knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Al Abdullah on the ground.
A bit of a pause in the action here. Al Abdullah controlling the positon.
Al Abdullah throwing strikes from the back - he gets a warning from the referee for striking the back of the head but all these shots are hurting Gallo!
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Al Abdullah is cranking Gallo's head sideways - that looks painful. He's managed to get his other arm under the chin and this looks bad for Gallo! He's tightened the choke and Gallo is tapping out!
