Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jake Dope (ranked 3512 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jon Black (ranked 22911 p4p, 0 weight class). Black comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Thug for Life kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Yukihiro Shimada and Shigeki Sano.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dope gets a clinch.
Dope stalling in the clinch.
Black misses with a hook from the clinch.
Dope's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Dope tries to close the distance and clinch up but Black swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Black changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
Dope darts in and clinches Black up against the cage.
Dope lands a knee to the body.
The referee is keeping an eye on Dope - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.

Black has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Dope avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

and Black counters with a single leg into guard. Dope didn't expect that.
Dope wants to get back to his feet but Black passes into half guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Black works his way into side control.

Black trying to control the action but Dope is working from the bottom.
Black might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Dope haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
Black stands up.
Black shoots for a double leg takedown but Dope sprawls well. He's pushed Black's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Dope scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Black tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Dope defends well and Black ends up having to push Dope into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Black blocks the body kick.
Black looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Dope leaves Black with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jake Dope dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Dope tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Black paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Black drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Dope defends it well.
Black shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Dope but Dope pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Black takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Dope throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Black.
It looks like Jon Black has been cut.
A head kick from Dope lands but Black takes it in his stride.
Dope rushes Black and presses him up against the cage.
Kneeeeees! The crowd are calling for knees to the body. Dope obliges.
Dope gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Black.
Dope lands a knee to the head.

Dope comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Dope unloads a knee to the mid-section.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Black takes an elbow to the forehead.
Dope landing knees to the body. They look like they could hurt.
Dope escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Dope moves in looking to clinch but Black pushes him off.
Dope throws a body kick, spinning off balance
and Black counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Dope!
Dope tries to buck Black off but Black is having none of it.
Black has hold of Dope's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Dope tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Black cranks the arm and Dope screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Dope, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
