The judges for this bout are William Peck, Yves DeLean and Dillan Fox.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hooker jabs Silva right on the nose. Silva blinks but takes it well.

It looks like Marco Silva has been cut.
Silva has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Hooker pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Silva misses with a looping left.

Silva forces Hooker back against the cage and clinches.
Silva lands a glancing elbow in the clinch.
Hooker wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Hooker wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Hooker tries to pull guard but Silva forces him back to his feet, against the cage.

Hooker tries to break free but Silva pushes him back against the cage.
Silva works on Hooker's body with a couple of short punches.
Silva throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.
Silva lands an uppercut.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Silva.
Hooker takes a shot to the head.
Hooker wants to break the clinch but can't.
Hooker throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Silvas head.
Silva tries to throw a body punch but Hooker avoids it by throwing Silva back against the cage.
Hooker misses with the head strike.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Hooker lands with a short head shot on the inside.
Hooker takes an elbow to the forehead.
Silva prevents Hooker from breaking the clinch.

A nice right hand lands inside from Silva.
Silva misses with a hook from the clinch.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Hooker creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Hooker lands a hook that snaps the head of Silva backwards.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Silva.
Silva prevents a body shot from Hooker.

Silva has a couple of punches blocked by Hooker.
Hooker tries to score a body lock takedown but Silva shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
We've been hearing reports that Hooker has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Silva throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Hookers head.
Silva misses with some punches.
Silva misses with a hook from the clinch.
Silva swings wildly with an uppercut but Hooker uses good head movement to avoid it.
A frustrated look appears on Hooker's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Hooker looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.

Hooker pulls guard effortlessly.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Silva lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Silva is sitting in close to Hooker's body. Hooker has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Silva is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Silva is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Hooker.
