Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ting Tang (ranked 3056 p4p, 0 weight class) and John C Reilly (ranked 21004 p4p, 0 weight class). Reilly is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by John C. Reilly Funniest Moments. John C Reilly is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, John C Reilly!
The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Anni Minnemäki and Matti Vanhoillinen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Reilly fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Reilly misses the shot to the body.

It looks like Ting Tang has been cut.
Tang throws a right and a left that Reilly avoids nicely.
Tang misses with a few strikes there.
Reilly takes a swing at Tang's ribcage but misses.
As Reilly tries to get set, Tang tries to push him back and clinch up but Reilly manages to avoid the attempt.
Tang keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Reilly keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Tang uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Reilly.
Tang looks to land a combination but Reilly avoids it well.

Tang can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Reilly controls the pace.

John C Reilly dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Ting Tang's cut.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.



Tang closes the distance and pushes Reilly back into the cage.
An uppercut to the body lands inside from Reilly.
Tang misses with a body punch.

Reilly scores with a shot to the side of Tang's head.
Reilly scores with an uppercut up the middle.
Reilly lands a body punch.
Reilly lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
Reilly stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.
Reilly scores with a nice hook to the head.

Reilly has clasped his hands together around Tang's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Reilly throws an elbow but Tang slips to the side and avoids it well.
You can see the frustration on Tang's face as Reilly controls the position.

Reilly throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Tang because Reilly loaded up on that one.
BOOM! Reilly connects with a massive shot to the dome!


Tang is rocked!
Reilly postures up and connects with a big shot that has rocked Tang badly. He's trying desperately to grab hold of Reilly around the waist but Reilly pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Reilly is the winner by TKO! Reilly jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:56 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). John C Reilly!
In his post fight interview, John C Reilly started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
