Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bunkechukwu Floyd (ranked 110 p4p, 15 weight class) and Peleki Tuala (ranked 143 p4p, 22 weight class). Floyd comes into the arena with Eric B. & Rakim - Paid In Full blaring out of the sound system. Tuala has chosen Dock of Fiji as his entrance music. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Peleki Tuala was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Floyd misses with a looping left.
Floyd takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Floyd takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Floyd tries to bum rush Tuala with a series of wild strikes but Tuala uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Tuala has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
A low kick from Tuala is predictable there
and Floyd counters with a right hand to the body.
Tuala moves away from the strike by Floyd.
Floyd slips a straight right by Tuala.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Floyd throws a right and a left that Tuala avoids nicely.
Floyd throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Tuala.
Floyd backing away here, and Tuala unleashes a leg kick that just misses.
Tuala throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Floyd sees it coming and avoids it easily.

Tuala's corner calls for a 1-2. Tuala obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.

Tuala is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Floyd.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Floyd throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Tuala on the side of the head.

and Tuala counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Floyd misses with a hook.
Floyd takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

A shot to the liver by Tuala. Beautiful body shot.
Floyd blocks a head kick by Tuala.
Tuala lands with a kick to the ribs.
Floyd is breathing heavily.
Floyd misses with a straight right.
Floyd takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.
Floyd throws a lazy uppercut
and Tuala counters with a good low kick that Floyd was not able to check.
Tuala lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Tuala clobbers Floyd with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Tuala closes the distance and clinches.
Tuala scores with a hook to the body.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.

Floyd misses with a short punch on the inside.
A short body shot lands from Tuala as the two fighters clinch.
Tuala scores with a nice hook to the head.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Tuala lands on the inside with an uppercut.

Tuala lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Floyd backwards.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Tuala creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Tuala lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage.

Tuala pushes Floyd back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.

Tuala drops Floyd onto one knee with a big uppercut from the clinch! Floyd is propped up by the cage and works his way back to his feet!
Floyd is rocked!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Peleki Tuala dominated that round.
That's time! Back to the action!
Tuala shakes his hands by his side, trying to relax. Floyd takes his eyes off the ball for a moment - Tuala sees the opportunity and cracks him with a massive hook! Floyd bends double and collapses on top of himself - he's out! The crowd are going absolutely nuts! Wow, what a knockout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:05 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Peleki Tuala!
Peleki Tuala decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
