Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Wamberto Boaz (ranked 356 p4p, 19 weight class) and Takashi Yoshida (ranked 563 p4p, 30 weight class). Boaz's entrance music is Preciso me encontrar. A fine choice. Yoshida is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Boogeyman by Motörhead. Wamberto Boaz had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

26 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Takashi Yoshida!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yoshida lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Boaz throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Boaz throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Yoshida sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Yoshida has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Yoshida misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Boaz.
Yoshida misses with a looping right.
Boaz keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Boaz throws an overhand right that lands on Yoshida's shoulder, as Yoshida tries to avoid the shot.
Yoshida swings away with a leg kick that misses.
Yoshida throws a body punch but Boaz moves out of range.
Yoshida uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Boaz.
Boaz cracks Yoshida with an open hand slap.
Yoshida throws a hook to the side of Boaz's head but Boaz sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Boaz tries to counter with a takedown but Yoshida is quick to defend against it.
Yoshida comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Boaz on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Yoshida throws a nice outside leg kick.
Boaz throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Yoshida! But no joy.
Boaz cracks Yoshida with a good jab.
Boaz has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Dr Hatsumi's Clinic in the buildup to the fight.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Boaz fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Yoshida looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Boaz throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Boaz looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Yoshida!
That's one minute gone in the round.
Yoshida is not content to let Boaz control the position.
Yoshida is trying to control Boaz's posture but Boaz avoids it.
You can see the frustration on Yoshida's face as Boaz controls the position.
Boaz tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.

Yoshida is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Boaz's leg. Oh but that's left an opportunity for Boaz! He's got an arm triangle... it looks tight! He's rotating and Yoshida has tapped! This one is allllll over!
