Coming up we have a middleweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Joe Bone (ranked 1761 p4p, 211 weight class) and Ryan Del Oeste (ranked 2217 p4p, 261 weight class). Bone's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, You'll Never Walk Alone. Del Oeste has chosen Coming Home as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the ring.
This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the middleweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of New York, with a TWGC record of 17 wins and 8 losses; Joe Bone! And in the blue corner, fighting out of Las Vegas, with a TWGC record of 4 wins and 4 losses; Ryan Del Oeste! The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Don Winkell and Frank Antenori.
The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way. Del Oeste instigates a clinch. Bone wants the takedown. Del Oeste is fighting it off but Bone persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Del Oeste's guard against the ropes. Bone trying to control the position from guard on top but Del Oeste is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Del Oeste escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Bone gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Del Oeste working for a triangle but Bone defends it easily.

Bone is really struggling to control Del Oeste but he's trying to hold on to the position. Del Oeste tries to buck Bone off but Bone is having none of it. Bone sitting and controlling from the half guard. Del Oeste trying to hold on to Bone's head to control him but Bone postures up.

God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Bone is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
And that's the end of the fight! Bone takes the fight on points by 24 to 14. Joe Bone thanked the fans post fight for their support. Ryan Del Oeste was interviewed post fight and said 'Tomorrow I'll be back in camp training, getting better than ever. Then I will come back and show what I am really made of.'. |
