Coming up we have a light heavyweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Kamden Jackson (ranked 1678 p4p, 217 weight class) and Rui Rodrigo Germano (ranked 6477 p4p, 508 weight class). Jackson's entrance music is Creed II- Eye of the Tiger. A fine choice. Germano has chosen HIM - Don't Fear The Reaper as his entrance music. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Rui Rodrigo Germano was going to win. Let's see if he was right.
This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the light heavyweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of Las Vegas, with a TWGC record of 22 wins and 14 losses; Kamden Jackson! And in the blue corner, fighting out of Las Vegas, with a TWGC record of 1 wins and 8 losses; Rui Rodrigo Germano! The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Percy O'Donnell and Frank Antenori.
The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way. Jackson shoots for a double leg takedown but Germano sprawls well. He's pushed Jackson's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. The fight stays on the outside here - Jackson looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Germano drives through and clinches with Jackson against the ropes.

Germano wants to sweep here but Jackson controlling him for the moment. Jackson wants to control from the top but Germano keeps moving. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Germano is trying to keep Jackson in close.

That's one minute gone in the round. Germano has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Jackson can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Jackson has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Germano looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Germano works his way to full guard. Good work. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Germano looking for a sweep. Not yet Germano, not yet. Jackson wants to control from the top but Germano keeps moving. Jackson is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Germano is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Germano holds on and takes a little breather. Jackson not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Jackson trying to control but Germano is working from the bottom.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Germano is on top in guard.

He's hooked one of Germano's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Germano's back! That's five minutes gone in the round. Germano trying to control the action but Jackson just sinks the hooks in. Germano tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell! Germano is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Germano has given up his back.
