Coming up we have a welterweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Tony Duff (ranked 18620 p4p, 561 weight class) and Paul Hunt (ranked 675 p4p, 95 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

In the red corner, competing out of New York, with a TWGC record of 3 wins and 4 losses; Tony Duff! And in the blue corner, fighting out of Helsinki, with a TWGC record of 5 wins and 5 losses; Paul Hunt!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Don Winkell and Frank Antenori.


Let's get this grappling contest under way! Who will be victorious?
Duff tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Hunt swivels and escapes.
Hunt looks for a takedown but Duff sprawls well.
Hunt has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

Duff shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Duff was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Duff tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Hunt manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.

Duff is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Hunt doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Duff.

Duff looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Hunt gets full guard.

Duff tries to free his leg and advance position but Hunt is retaining full guard.

Hunt is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Duff defends well.
Duff pushes down on Hunt's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Hunt gets back to full guard.
Duff is looking to pass into half guard but Hunt pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Hunt is in guard.

Duff is trying to control the position but Hunt postures up.
Hunt pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Duff is keeping the position for now.

Duff has his foot on Hunt's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Hunt works his way back into a safe position though.

Duff working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Hunt doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Hunt manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Duff can't keep his opponent in guard - Hunt advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Hunt tries to pass to full mount but Duff defends it.
Duff is trying to control but can't.

Hunt looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.
Duff trying to hold on to Hunt's head to control him but Hunt postures up.
Duff tries to get to full guard but Hunt has control of the leg.
Hunt is trying to control. Duff wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

Duff looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
Duff has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Hunt is working away from the top position though.

Hunt is trying to work for a kimura but Duff is defending well.
Duff tries to roll over but Hunt keeps him under control.

Hunt tries to pass to full mount but Duff defends it.
Duff is looking for a sweep. Hunt is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Hunt works his way into side control.

Duff tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Hunt wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Hunt moves into full mount!

Hunt tries to control but Duff wriggling away.

Hunt pushing the pace here, looking to move to his opponents back and work for a finish.
Hunt avoids the attempt from Duff to control.

Hunt has the hooks in. Duff is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted.
Duff is working hard here to advance position.

Hunt has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Duff has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
Duff tries to escape the position.

Duff tries to escape but he's let his defenses down in doing so and Hunt has slipped in the rear naked choke! Oh, that's tiiiiiiiiight! Duff is tapping! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
