Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Michele Amidon!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Battle Tested!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fray, Micheangelo Fripello and Roger Salmon.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Amidon chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Amidon throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Tested tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Amidon is in Tested's guard.
Tested has managed to wall walk up one of the corner posts to get back to his feet. Amidon is pushing him up against the cage, looking to control the position.
Amidon is working for takedown but Tested is calmly controlling the position for now.
Tested is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Amidon breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Tested shoots in and drives through. Amidon sprawls well.
Tested tries to sprawl but Amidon drives through with a takedown into half guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Tested wants to improve his position but Amidon is controlling well.
Amidon knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Tested on the ground.
Amidon wants to lay and pray for a moment but Tested keeps working.
Tested has one foot on Amidon's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.
No luck for Amidon with that takedown attempt.
Tested scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Tested lands a nice short elbow.
Amidon is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Tested scores with a couple of nice shots.
Tested lands with a punch from half guard.
Amidon trying to control but Tested postures up.
Tested passes to side control.
Tested thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Tested tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Tested has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Tested scores with punches from side control.
Amidon is rocked!
Tested is working to tighten his grip on Amidon's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Amidon has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Tested is really squeezing tight and eventually Amidon passes out! Tested breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
