Coming up we have a lightweight kickboxing rules bout between Shinji Takada (ranked 5307 p4p, 420 weight class) and Tong Po (ranked 6071 p4p, 445 weight class). Tong Po is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Shinji Takada! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Tong Po! The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Shigeki Fujiwara.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Takada throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Takada fakes the leg kick and cracks Po in the body. Po just misses with a punch to the body.
A slapping body kick lands there for Takada. Takada delivers a nice body kick. Takada swings widly with a right hand
and Po connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
It looks like Shinji Takada has been cut. Po ducks right into an uppercut from Takada. Takada throws a low kick, looking for Po's leg but Po calmly moves out of range. Takada slips under a jab. Po misses with a low kick as Takada jumps back. Takada thinks about countering with a body kick. Takada throws a head kick that misses and Po counters with a straight right hand. Takada staying out of range there. Po connects with a good right hand that stumbles Takada. Takada circles away out of range and recomposes himself. This has been an exciting period of action! Takada lands with a kick to the temple. Po shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
It looks like Tong Po has been cut. Po connects with a body shot that sends Takada's belly button to the back. Takada scores with a leg kick.
That's one minute gone in the round. Po scores with a jab. Po lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Takada circles away quickly and effectively. Po bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Takada's head backwards. Takada misses the jab. Takada will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Takada moves away from the strike by Po. Takada checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time. Po ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Po dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Takada connects with a crisp jab. Po blocks a leg kick. Takada is breathing heavily. Donk. Po catches Takada right on the button with a cross.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Po misses with a looping right. Po swings for the body but Takada moves out of range.
A head kick misses from Takada. Po moves into the clinch. Po pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Po has closed the distance and engaged Takada in a clinch.
A short uppercut from Po. Po lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Takada or not. A short right from Po. Po softening up his opponent with strikes, against the ropes. Po breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Po wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. Po misses with a left hand and Takada counters with a two punch combo. Good work by Takada as he checks the leg kick. Nice shot by Po. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Tong Po dominated that round. Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
Po lands with a good body shot. Takada feints and then cracks Po's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Po down. Nice shot lands for Po.
Takada is rocked! Takada misses with an uppercut
and Po counters with a straight right, followed by a hook and finally a brutal uppercut! Takada drops to the canvas, flat on his back and unconcious - no need for the referee to start the count as this one is all over! Po struts around like it's just an every day occurrence to knock someone out in such brutal fashion. A dominant finish for Po!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:19 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Tong Po! During a confident post fight interview, Tong Po thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
