Coming up we have a super heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Irvine Kinneas (ranked 2035 p4p, 57 weight class) and Miguel Cotto (ranked 14981 p4p, 185 weight class). Kinneas comes into the arena with Judas Priest - Electric Eye blaring out of the sound system. This should be a great matchup!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
22 - 9 - 1, fighting out of London, Irvine Kinneas! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
34 - 18 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Miguel Cotto! The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Ren Mimura and Taro Takaoka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kinneas throws a lazy head kick and Cotto counters with an inside leg kick. Cotto gets a clinch. Kinneas throws a punch but it's blocked by Cotto. Cotto is leaning against Kinneas and scores with a nice uppercut to the body. Cotto breaks from the clinch.
Kinneas dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Cotto. That did some damage! Kinneas misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Cotto throws a head kick that misses. Kinneas takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Kinneas misses with a right hand and Cotto counters with a nice uppercut. Cotto has taken the fight to the clinch.
Cotto's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. A big left from Cotto misses. Cotto moves out of range of the strikes. Good standup being displayed there by Cotto as he connects with a hook. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Kinneas looks to land a body kick but Cotto moved away.
That's one minute gone in the round. Cotto slips a jab and a cross from Kinneas.
Cotto lands with a right hand. Kinneas throws a head kick but Cotto moves out of range.
Cotto throws out a counter right but Kinneas avoids it with no problem. Kinneas pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Kinneas rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Cotto counters with a nice body kick.
A head kick misses from Cotto. Kinneas ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Cotto moves away. Kinneas swings away with a body shot that misses
and Cotto connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Irvine Kinneas seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Kinneas takes one to the side of the head.
Cotto connects with a right hand. Kinneas shakes it off. Kinneas throws a predictable looking body shot
and Cotto counters with a slapping leg kick. Cotto blocks a head kick by Kinneas.
Kinneas blocks the body kick.
That's two minutes gone in the round. This has been an exciting period of action! A nice inside leg kick there by Cotto. That's going to slow Kinneas down. Kinneas lands a nice shot to the body.
Kinneas uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Cotto. Kinneas on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Kinneas finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Cotto looks to land a body kick but Kinneas moved away. Cotto throws a jab when Kinneas was well out of range. Kinneas seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance. Kinneas throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
A good leg kick by Cotto. Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Kinneas. A looping hook to the body misses from Kinneas. Cotto does a little dance to reset his feet. Cotto is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own. Kinneas throws a body kick despite being completely out of range and Cotto counters with a nice uppercut. Kinneas misses with a head kick.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Miguel Cotto dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
An inside leg kick lands from Kinneas. Cotto ducks under a wild hook from Kinneas. Kinneas looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Cotto bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Kinneas throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Kinneas misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Cotto has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Kinneas misses with a jab to the body
and Cotto cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Kinneas lands with a straight right. Cotto didn't see that one coming. Cotto misses with a looping left. Cotto looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kinneas's jab looks to have found its range, popping Cotto under the eye. A jab from Kinneas misses. Cotto follows through with a counter body kick but it doesn't land. Cotto takes one on the chin but seems OK.

That's one minute gone in the round. Kinneas turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Cotto gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Kinneas lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. Kinneas just misses with a punch to the body.
Cotto throws a big counter head kick but Kinneas avoids it with no problem. Cotto swings widly with a right hand
and Kinneas counters with a nice uppercut. Kinneas throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean. A head kick misses from Kinneas. A head kick misses from Kinneas. Cotto gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. Kinneas misses with a jab to the body
and Cotto counters with a straight right hand. Miguel Cotto seems to be getting the better of the standup. Kinneas fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Cotto manages to avoid it. Cotto was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind. Cotto rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Kinneas moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Kinneas scores with a push kick.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Kinneas tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Kinneas is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches. Kinneas fakes the leg kick and cracks Cotto in the body. Kinneas looks to score with a jab to the body but Cotto is just out of range. A low kick from Kinneas misses and Cotto counters with a good low kick that Kinneas was not able to check. Kinneas smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. Kinneas lands a jab to the nose. Kinneas checks a leg kick. Kinneas throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Kinneas takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Kinneas throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Cotto misses with an uppercut. Kinneas saw that one coming. Cotto needs to keep his hands up - Kinneas had a free shot at his head there. Cotto throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Irvine Kinneas dominated that second round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!

Cotto loads up on a big right hand but Kinneas slips the punch. Kinneas tries to counter by clinching up but Cotto breaks away and moves out of range. Cotto misses with a head kick.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Cotto lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Kinneas has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Kinneas and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. Kinneas is looking to counter with head kicks. Kinneas connects with a solid leg kick. Kinneas throws a head kick that misses. Cotto scores with a head kick. Kinneas tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Cotto takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards. Cotto throws a hook to the side of Kinneas's head but Kinneas sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Kinneas looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. A little jabbing left from Cotto on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. Cotto takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
That's one minute gone in the round. Cotto fakes the leg kick and cracks Kinneas in the body. Cotto's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Kinneas connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Cotto scrambles back to his feet. Kinneas lands with a shot to the body. Kinneas lands a head shot. Cotto throws a nice looking combination but Kinneas bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Kinneas misses with a wild body shot. Cotto is trying to counter with his kicks. Kinneas thuds his shin into the meat of Cotto's side. Cotto feints and then cracks Kinneas's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Kinneas down. Cotto misses with an attempted mid kick.
Kinneas throws a body punch but Cotto moves out of range. Kinneas throws a solid leg kick but Cotto takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Kinneas. Cotto throws out a leg kick but Kinneas moves out of range and Cotto only half commits. Kinneas scores with a shot to the body.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kinneas throws a hook to the side of Cotto's head but Cotto sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Cotto lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Cotto. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Cotto has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Kinneas finds it's way round the side to connect with Cotto's head. Kinneas throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Cotto. Cotto is looking for the big counter here. A bone on bone clash there as Cotto blocks the leg kick.
Kinneas turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Kinneas stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Cotto. Cotto uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Kinneas has time to react. Kinneas wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Cotto moves out of range as Kinneas throws a body kick.
A jab from Cotto does it's job there. Sloppy strikes from Kinneas. Those never looked like landing.
And that's the end of the fight! Irvine Kinneas showed his dominance in that final round. I think Kinneas has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
