Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 23 - 15 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, David Cain!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 34 - 20 - 2, fighting out of Amsterdam, Maya Chigg!
The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Shirou Masuda and Yasuomi Hirokawa.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A swing and a miss from Chigg.
Cain is looking to counter with a shot to the body.
Chigg misses with the body kick
and Cain counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Chigg misses with a shot to the body
and Cain cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Chigg misses with a head kick.
It looked like Cain wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Cain throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Maya Chigg seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Chigg tries to clinch up against the ropes, rushing in to close the distance. Cain manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Chigg punishes Cain's body with a nice straight punch.
Chigg ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Chigg throws a body kick, spinning off balance
and Cain counters with a stiff right hand.
Chigg lands a nice looking body kick.
Chigg cracks Cain with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the ropes.
Cain has been working on his boxing with his coaches at The Factory in the buildup to the fight.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Cain on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Chigg. Chigg obviously looking to wear him down.
Cain takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
It looked like Cain was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Chigg.
Chigg throws a right hand that misses
and Cain counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

Chigg is rocked!

That's one minute gone in the round.
Cain cracks Chigg with a perfect right hand that drops him to the mat! Chigg is sitting up but I can't see if he's OK from my position. The referee's count has reached 5,6,7 and Chigg is still not up. Can he make it? 8,9,10! He's out! Chigg could not beat the count!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:10 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punch). David Cain!
David Cain really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Helsinki Xtreme Fightwear logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
