Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Aleksandar Volkanovski (ranked 6150 p4p, 491 weight class) and Saint Pete (ranked 3146 p4p, 363 weight class). Volkanovski comes to the cage accompanied by 2pac - Hail Mary. Pete is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Midnight Rider. The judges for this bout are George Francis, Chris Downing and Alan Glass.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Volkanovski is looking to clinch.
Pete swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Volkanovski throws a sloppy head kick and Pete moves out of range easily.
Pete now looks to counter with a shot at the body.
Volkanovski tries to close the distance and clinch but Pete swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Volkanovski tries to clinch there but Pete circles away.
Volkanovski moves in looking to clinch but Pete pushes him off.
Volkanovski tries to clinch but Pete moves out of range.
Pete throws out a counter right but Volkanovski avoids it with no problem.
Volkanovski throws a sloppy head kick

and Pete counters with a nice double leg into side control. Volkanovski won't be happy with that.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Volkanovski prevents Pete from moving into mount.
Pete has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Volkanovski!

Pete looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.

Volkanovski wants to use the cage to get back to his feet here.

Pete has hold of Volkanovski's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Volkanovski manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Pete looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.

Pete has hold of an arm here, looking to extend it. He's committed to the armbar attempt here! Will he get it?! Yes! Volkanovski is forced to tap!

After the fight, Saint Pete was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
