Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Thai Boxer (ranked 3154 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bornas Lopette (ranked 2529 p4p, 299 weight class). Lopette has chosen Root Of All Evil as his entrance music. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 20 - 9 - 0, fighting out of New York, Thai Boxer!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 50 - 44 - 3, fighting out of New York, Bornas Lopette!
The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, Dean Styles and Reed Andrews.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Boxer closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Boxer lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Lopette backwards.

Boxer breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Lopette misses with a leg kick
and Boxer cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Boxer lands a lovely overhand right.

Boxer darts in and clinches Lopette up against the cage.
Boxer throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Lopette blocks it with crossed arms.

Boxer escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
A nice combination there by Boxer.
Boxer throws a head kick that Lopette semi-blocks.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Lopette tries to land a front kick but Boxer steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Boxer connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Boxer is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Boxer feints and then cracks Lopette's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Lopette down.
Lopette drops his hands momentarily and Boxer takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
A slapping body kick lands there for Boxer.
A head kick misses from Boxer.
Good leg kick by Boxer there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Good exchange - Boxer coming out on top.
Lopette drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Boxer bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Boxer lands a jab to the nose.
Boxer scores with a hook to the body. Lopette takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Boxer chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Boxer scores with a hook.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Boxer, as that shot connected.

Lopette is rocked!
Lopette misses with a lunging right hand
and Boxer counters with a body kick.
Lopette is still on wobbly legs! Can Boxer finish him?
Boxer throws a monster overhand right that drops Lopette! Boxer follows up with more strikes from mount and the fight is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:27 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Thai Boxer!
After winning the bout, Thai Boxer thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
