Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Stefano De Stein (ranked 6241 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nick Whitman (ranked 4348 p4p, 378 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Nick Whitman was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Whitman throws a series of punches but De Stein avoids them all with ease.
De Stein closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.

Whitman is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in De Stein's half guard.
De Stein wants to get back to his feet.
Whitman is figuring out what he wants to do next.

Whitman is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, De Stein has managed to free his arm - good work.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

De Stein has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Whitman is on him like a limpet, forcing De Stein back against the cage.

Whitman breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
De Stein throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Whitman.
Stefano De Stein seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Whitman is keeping his hands low and just asking to be knocked out. De Stein Raises his leg and lands a stunning axe kick! Whitman is out cold, face down on the mat!
