Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Frank Glotsby (ranked 4037 p4p, 381 weight class) and Josh Jon (ranked 4387 p4p, 395 weight class). Glotsby comes to the cage accompanied by Another one bites the dust. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Frank Glotsby! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Josh Jon! The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Steven Brown and Phil Schofield.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jon drives through with a takedown into guard. Glotsby keeping moving, preventing Jon from controlling successfully. Glotsby pulls Jon in close to prevent any damage. Jon is looking to work some ground and pound but Glotsby has wrist control. Glotsby utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Glotsby keeping moving, preventing Jon from controlling successfully. Glotsby keeping full guard, as Jon tries to pass. Glotsby definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jon misses with a body kick. Glotsby ducks right into an uppercut from Jon. Jon throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Glotsby tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Jon is in Glotsby's guard. Jon wants to stand but Glotsby is controlling his posture from full guard. Glotsby is pulling down on Jon's head. It's preventing any offense from Jon, at least for the moment. Jon's corner is telling him to maintain position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jon missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Jon trying to control but Glotsby is working from the bottom. Jon throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Glotsby works some decent striking defense from the bottom. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Jon looking to sit in guard and control but Glotsby gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Glotsby controls the pace of the fight for a moment. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Jon is on top in guard.
Jon would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jon wants to pass the guard but Glotsby is keeping the position. Jon working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Jon in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Jon trying to control the position from guard on top but Glotsby is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Jon controlling from the top position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Glotsby trying to control the position.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Jon pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Glotsby avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
A big left from Glotsby misses. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Jon tries to bum rush Glotsby with a series of wild strikes but Glotsby uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Glotsby cracks Jon with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Josh Jon dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Jon decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Jon has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Jon seems to be looking for submissions.
Jon content to control rather than advance. Jon tries to pass to full mount but Glotsby defends it. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Jon wants to lay and pray for a moment but Glotsby keeps working. Glotsby avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Jon. Josh Jon has got the better of the ground game so far.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jon throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Glotsby tries to get to full guard but Jon has control of the leg. Jon seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Jon tries for a takedown but Glotsby circles away easily and Glotsby holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Jon blocking some punches.
Jon is looking to take this one to the mat. Glotsby pulls guard successfully.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

That's going to take a lot out of Josh Jon. Glotsby tries to clinch up. Jon throws out a counter right but Glotsby avoids it with no problem. Glotsby closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Jon to the mat! Jon manages to get full guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Glotsby postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Glotsby preventing the sweep. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Jon is breathing heavily. Glotsby trying to control the position from guard on top but Jon is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Glotsby controlling from the top position. Jon looking for a guillotine here but Glotsby defends easily.

Jon looks to clinch and Glotsby counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Jon! Jon is not content to let Glotsby control the position. Jon tries to get back to half guard but can't. Glotsby is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Jon knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Jon is looking for a sweep. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Glotsby wants to control but Jon is keeping him busy. Jon is being controlled here.

Possibly, maybe, no Glotsby has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Jon sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. Jon is looking to improve his position.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Glotsby perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Glotsby working over Jon with some ground and pound. Jon looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Jon controlling the position well. Glotsby perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. Jon is staying active underneath Glotsby, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Jon fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Glotsby is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Jon. Jon takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Jon throws a head kick that misses.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jon throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Jon fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Glotsby throws a big counter combination but Jon scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage. A punch combination from Jon misses. Glotsby tries to counter by clinching up but Jon breaks away and moves out of range. Jon fails with a takedown attempt from distance. A quick step to the side and Glotsby tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect. Frank Glotsby has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Josh Jon. Glotsby smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. A looping hook to the body misses from Glotsby. Jon does a little dance to reset his feet. Glotsby lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. Glotsby swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Jon fails with an attempt to clinch.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Glotsby jabbing away but nothing is landing. Jon tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away. Josh Jon seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Jon swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Glotsby moves into the clinch. Jon can't find room to land a body shot as Glotsby controls the action.
Glotsby lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage. Jon has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Glotsby avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Glotsby digs a right hand into Jon's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Jon's gas tank. Glotsby gets underhooks to prevent Jon's takedown attempt.

Frank Glotsby has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Glotsby tries to work over Jon's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. A nice right hand lands inside from Glotsby. Josh Jon is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Glotsby misses with the head strike.
And that's the end of the fight! Frank Glotsby showed his dominance in that final round. I think Jon has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
