Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 5 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Sergey Objedkov!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 5 - 1, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Detkhunjon Sitsongrit!
The judges for this bout are William Gold, Daniel Bishop and Phil Schofield.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Objedkov fails with a takedown attempt.
Sitsongrit lands with a right hand.
Sitsongrit looks to throw the jab but Objedkov is out of range.
Sitsongrit misses the shot to the body.
Objedkov wants to clinch up but Sitsongrit keeps it at a distance.
Objedkov fails in his attempt to clinch.
Sitsongrit lands a jab.
A telegraphed right hand from Sitsongrit misses the target.
Objedkov takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Sitsongrit is looking to slow Objedkov down with leg kicks.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Objedkov uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Sitsongrit.

Objedkov shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Objedkov was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
This has been an exciting period of action!

Objedkov wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Sitsongrit, who protects the arm well.

Objedkov is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Sitsongrit is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Objedkov creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Sitsongrit sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
Objedkov landing with strikes to the head and body from side control.
Sitsongrit felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.
Sitsongrit can't do much from the bottom here.

Objedkov throwing shots but missing, from side control.
Sitsongrit struggling a bit here.
Sitsongrit is trying to get back to half guard.
Sitsongrit takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Sitsongrit is looking for a sweep.
Objedkov misses with an attempted head punch from side control.
Objedkov is looking to take a break and control but Sitsongrit is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Sitsongrit is trying to control Objedkov's posture but Objedkov avoids it.
Sitsongrit is positioning himself to get back to half guard.

Sitsongrit is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Objedkov is controlling him well.

Objedkov goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Sitsongrit rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Objedkov's guard! Nice work there by Sitsongrit!

Sitsongrit wants to stand up, so he's looking to wriggle free of Objedkov's closed guard. He's half up but Objedkov has locked on to an arm! Uh oh! Objedkov pivots and extends the arm, Sitsongrit falls face first to the mat and taps??... does he?? YES! He's tapping! Excellent counter grappling there by Objedkov! Well done that man!
