Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Rebel Sith (ranked 3536 p4p, 103 weight class) and Jon Masvidal (ranked 5450 p4p, 0 weight class). Masvidal comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Scarface kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Rebel Sith!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jon Masvidal!
The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, John Kavanagh and Steve Montenegro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Masvidal throws a right and a left that Sith avoids nicely.
Sith swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Sith connects with a nice looking jab.
Nice uppercut lands for Sith. That snapped Masvidal's head back.
It looks like Jon Masvidal has been cut.
Masvidal keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Sith.
Masvidal moves out of range of the strikes.
Sith pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Sith's jab looks to have found its range, popping Masvidal under the eye.
Sith moves out of range of the body kick.
Masvidal with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Sith to score with a decent uppercut.
Masvidal tries a head kick but it misses.
Masvidal throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Sith punishes Masvidal's body with a nice straight punch.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
BOOM! Sith lands a beautiful left hook that drops Masvidal. Masvidal tries to recover but Sith is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Masvidal lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:44 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Rebel Sith!
