Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ignacy Zawadzki (ranked 4404 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kazuki Takayanagi (ranked 4435 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Ignacy Zawadzki! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kazuki Takayanagi! The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Shigeki Sano and Sosuke Kotani.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The fight moves into the clinch position. Takayanagi jumps guard.
Zawadzki drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Zawadzki jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Zawadzki thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Zawadzki is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Takayanagi is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Takayanagi has escaped and now he's on top!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Zawadzki is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Takayanagi is aware though and is defending well. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Zawadzki looking for a guillotine here but Takayanagi defends easily.

Zawadzki avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Zawadzki might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Zawadzki looking for a guillotine here but Takayanagi defends easily.

Zawadzki keeping moving, preventing Takayanagi from controlling successfully. Takayanagi pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Zawadzki is keeping the position for now. Zawadzki is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Takayanagi is aware though and is defending well. Zawadzki is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Takayanagi controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Takayanagi wants to control from the top but Zawadzki keeps moving. Takayanagi tries to free his leg and advance position but Zawadzki is retaining full guard. Takayanagi is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Zawadzki keeping moving, preventing Takayanagi from controlling successfully. That's three minutes gone in the round. Zawadzki throws his legs up looking for a submission but Takayanagi uses it to pass to side control.
Zawadzki sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. Zawadzki is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Takayanagi pulls his head out easily. Takayanagi not doing much here.
Takayanagi missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Takayanagi escapes and gets back to his feet. Excellent takedown into side control there by Takayanagi. Takayanagi tries to advance to mount but Zawadzki denies him. Takayanagi really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Zawadzki. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Zawadzki tries to improve position but can't.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Takayanagi in side control, throwing shots but Zawadzki defends. Zawadzki is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Zawadzki is working hard here to advance position. Takayanagi staying calm. Takayanagi blocks the strikes from Zawadzki.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Takayanagi thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Zawadzki manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Kazuki Takayanagi will probably get the nod. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Zawadzki goes for a double leg but Takayanagi avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Takayanagi continues to drive forward. Takayanagi closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Zawadzki's guard. Zawadzki has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Takayanagi can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Zawadzki looking for a triangle here. Takayanagi is fighting it but it looks tight! Zawadzki pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Takayanagi is tapping out - this one is all over!
