Lopez wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

Maximus Jr breaks the clinch.
Maximus Jr throws a series of punches but Lopez moves out of range.
Maximus Jr misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Lopez looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Marcus Megnus Maximus Jr Maximus Jr seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Maximus Jr tries to bum rush Lopez with a series of wild strikes but Lopez uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Lopez scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Maximus Jr tries to buck Lopez off but Lopez is having none of it.
Lopez trying to control the action but Maximus Jr is working from the bottom.
Maximus Jr is trying to control Lopez's posture but Lopez avoids it.

Lopez goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Maximus Jr has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Lopez but great work by Maximus Jr.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Lopez can't do much from the bottom here.
Lopez really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Maximus Jr. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Maximus Jr has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Lopez is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Maximus Jr yanks on the arm and Lopez is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Maximus Jr.
