The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Emelyanov misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Ashimov unleashes a big counter combination but Emelyanov bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.
Emelyanov is breathing heavily.
Ashimov will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Emelyanov uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Ashimov.
Ashimov shoots in but Emelyanov avoids the takedown attempt easily.
