Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
4 - 11 - 0, fighting out of New York, Edgardo Flores!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Mikhail Lahat!
The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, Eddie Farnsworth and David Schapiro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lahat gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Flores is trying to push Lahat away but Lahat has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Lahat is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Flores gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Flores is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Flores tries to break the clinch but Lahat is controlling the position.
Lahat tightens his grip and picks Flores up, before dumping him to the ground. Flores manages to land in guard.
Lahat stands and steps away. Flores gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Flores misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Flores tries a head kick but it misses.
Flores throws a sloppy head kick and Lahat moves out of range easily.

Flores drops Lahat with a left right combo! Flores follows him down to the ground into side control.
Lahat is rocked!
It looks like Mikhail Lahat has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Flores tries to stand but Lahat controls the position and pulls Flores into his guard.
Lahat is still in real trouble! Can Flores finish him?
Flores would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Lahat looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.
Lahat's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
Lahat tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Lahat seems to have recovered his senses.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Lahat pulls Flores in close to his closed guard and prevents Flores from doing any damage or advancing position.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Lahat throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
Lahat looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Flores is defending well. Lahat quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Flores has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Lahat celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
