Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Fred Freds (ranked 1967 p4p, 215 weight class) and Boris Balkan (ranked 2250 p4p, 235 weight class). Boris Balkan has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Fred Freds! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Boris Balkan! The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Alec Ball and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Freds lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Balkan takes a shot to the body in his stride.
A big right from Freds misses. Balkan looks to score with a jab to the body but Freds is just out of range. Freds is looking to counter punch. Freds throws a lazy right hand but Balkan sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Freds misses with a body shot.
Freds lands with a hook. Balkan tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. Balkan slips under a jab. Balkan lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Freds circles away quickly and effectively. Balkan darts in trying to clinch and Freds counters with a lovely straight right hand!
It looks like Boris Balkan has been cut. Freds misses with a straight right. Balkan throws a hook but Freds avoids it easily. Freds throws the left hand but Balkan avoids the punch easily. Freds throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Balkan misses with a wild body shot. Balkan rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Freds counters with an outside leg kick.
That's one minute gone in the round. Balkan avoids the body shot from Freds.
Fred Freds seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Freds takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Freds misses with a head kick.
Balkan misses with a hook. Freds pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Freds looks to land a right hand but Balkan moved out of range. Freds blocks a jab. Balkan throws a body punch but Freds moves out of range. A big left from Balkan misses. Freds appeared to be looking to counter that last move with a leg kick. Freds fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Freds circles away from the clinch attempt and Freds counters with a stiff right hand. Ouch! a nice leg kick from Freds, right into the meat.
Balkan connects with the punch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Freds takes a swing at Balkan's ribcage but misses. Balkan swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made. Freds with a body punch. A glancing blow. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Balkan misses with a hook. Freds chopping away at his opponent's legs.

Freds lands with a shot to the body. Balkan lands a jab followed by a vicious hook that sends Freds sprawling to the canvas. Balkan follows him down, looking for the kill. Can Freds hang on?
It looks like Fred Freds has been cut. Balkan controlling the action here. Freds won't allow Balkan to pass to mount.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Balkan is looking to take a break and control but Freds is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Freds won't allow Balkan to pass to mount. Freds wants to improve his position but Balkan is controlling well.
Balkan wants to free his trapped foot but Freds is holding on for dear life with his legs. Balkan prevents Freds from improving his position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Balkan is keen to just control but Freds is a slippery customer. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Balkan seems to be looking for submissions.
Balkan trying to control from half guard but Freds is working away. Balkan is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Freds! Balkan trying to control but Freds is having none of it. Balkan might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Freds haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Boris Balkan will probably get the nod. Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Freds swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Freds lands with a straight right. Balkan didn't see that one coming. Balkan misses with a lunging right hand
and Freds counters with a nice uppercut. Freds takes a swing at Balkan's ribcage but misses. Balkan connects with a superb combination that knocks Freds out cold! The referee charges across the mat and tackles Balkan before he can land any more shots to the unconscious Freds!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:21 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Boris Balkan! After winning the bout, Boris Balkan thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
