PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Mike Tyson (ranked 22979 p4p, 443 weight class) and Carlos Salomanca (ranked 22875 p4p, 468 weight class). Both these guys are coming into the fight with injuries so let's see if that has a bearing on the fight. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 14 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Carlos Salomanca!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tyson keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Tyson lands a jab-cross combination.
Salomanca looks winded!
Salomanca lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Salomanca's corner calls for a 1-2. Salomanca obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Tyson lands a jab to the head.
Tyson swings for the body but Salomanca moves out of range.
A telegraphed right hand from Tyson misses the target.
Tyson throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Tyson misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Tyson definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Tyson lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Tyson looks to land a left hand but Salomanca moved out of range nicely.
Salomanca was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind.
Tyson misses with a double jab.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Salomanca throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Tyson lands an overhand right.
Tyson throws a hook but Salomanca avoids it easily.
Tyson throws a hook but Salomanca blocks it.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Tyson clips Salomanca with a right and a left that makes him do the chicken dance for a couple of seconds. He touched his left hand down on the canvas so the referee steps between the fighters to give Salomanca a standing 8 count before we can continue the bout.
