Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Tiny Johnson and Gwen Towbar.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dobbs goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.

Motown decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Dobbs really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Motown. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Dobbs looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.

Motown is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Dobbs sees it coming and defends easily.
Motown is trying to control the action in half guard but Dobbs is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Dobbs wants to get back to full guard.

Motown is trying to work for a kimura. He's got his hands clasped together - this could be trouble! No, Dobbs has managed to free his arm - good work.
Dobbs punching from the bottom.

Motown looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Dobbs tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land.

Dobbs misses with some strikes from the bottom.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Motown has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Horrible takedown by Motown or perhaps it was just good defense by Dobbs which made him look bad.
Motown will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Motown shoots in for a takedown but Dobbs shows good takedown defense.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Cake Motown. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Motown is breathing heavily.

Dobbs has closed the distance and engaged Motown in a clinch.

Dobbs lands a takedown into guard.
Dobbs postures up in Motown's guard and throws a big left but Motown blocks it.
Dobbs loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

Motown keeping moving, preventing Dobbs from controlling successfully.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Dobbs working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Motown is trying to control the position from the bottom.

Motown working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Dobbs doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Dobbs manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Dobbs throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Motown works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Dobbs shoots for a takedown but Motown saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Decent striking displayed by Dobbs there.

Dobbs connects with a good right hand that stumbles Motown. Motown circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Dobbs fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Dobbs throws a combination. Motown tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Dobbs stalks Motown and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Motown's face. Motown staggers backwards, shaken.

Motown is rocked!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Dobbs drops Motown with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Motown! Dobbs dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!
