Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Rammsie Hartmann (ranked 3228 p4p, 372 weight class) and Jaakko Mattonen (ranked 4377 p4p, 462 weight class). Rammsie Hartmann has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

The judges for this bout are Jeff Smith, Josh West and Roger Salmon.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mattonen tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Hartmann definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Mattonen drops back, looking for a kneebar! Hartmann looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Hartmann looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Hartmann!

Mattonen tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Hartmann wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

You can see the frustration on Hartmann's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.

A punch lands to the side of Mattonen 's head but he takes it in his stride.

Rammsie Hartmann seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hartmann throws a hook but Mattonen blocks it.

Mattonen throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Hartmann tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Mattonen is in Hartmann's guard.
Hartmann really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Hartmann will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

That was a close second round but I would say that Rammsie Hartmann will probably get the nod.
