Coming up we have a super heavyweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Dragon Li Chai (ranked 7776 p4p, 229 weight class) and Bobolo Jubbly (ranked 6203 p4p, 192 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Bobolo Jubbly was going to win. Let's see if he was right.
This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the super heavyweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of London, with a TWGC record of 2 wins and 5 losses; Dragon Li Chai! And in the blue corner, fighting out of Los Angeles, with a TWGC record of 5 wins and 3 losses; Bobolo Jubbly!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Percy O'Donnell and Jack Bonds.
The fighters connect hands in the middle of the mat and we are under way.
Chai tries to keep at a distance but Jubbly has taken the fight into the clinch.

Jubbly is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Chai defends it well.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Jubbly is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Chai gets his way!
Jubbly wants to control his opponent's hands but Chai gets his hands free.
Chai is hanging on to Jubbly's back as he tries to escape.
Jubbly has hold of Chai's leg, trying to break free but it's let Chai lock up a rear naked choke! This could be big trouble! Jubbly is turning an unusual color here… he's out! Chai throws him to one side and jumps onto the ropes to celebrate with his fans.

A relieved looking Dragon Li Chai thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it. |
