Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Danny Rand (ranked 2917 p4p, 286 weight class) and Guido Van Dorestad (ranked 3924 p4p, 351 weight class). Rand's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Wu Tang-Protect Ya Neck. Guido Van Dorestad has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Danny Rand!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Guido Van Dorestad!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Saam Ante and Paulsen Ambrosius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rand connects with an inside leg kick.
Rand lands a leg kick that knocks Van Dorestad off balance momentarily.
Van Dorestad fails with a takedown attempt.
Van Dorestad fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Van Dorestad on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Van Dorestad goes for a double leg but Rand avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Rand continues to drive forward.
Rand seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.
Danny Rand has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Guido Van Dorestad.
Good exchange - Rand coming out on top.
Rand throws a nice inside leg kick.
We've been told by Rand's head coaches at Iron mikes mma that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Van Dorestad on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Rand. Rand obviously looking to wear him down.
Van Dorestad gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Rand counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Van Dorestad shoots in and gets a takedown into Rand's guard.
Rand pushes Van Dorestad off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Rand tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Van Dorestad counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Van Dorestad.

Van Dorestad drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Van Dorestad as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Rand screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Van Dorestad! Nice submission victory there!
