Coming up we have a super heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Solomon Cook (ranked 5530 p4p, 139 weight class) and Irvine Kinneas (ranked 2164 p4p, 59 weight class). Kinneas has chosen Judas Priest - Electric Eye as his entrance music. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Irvine Kinneas was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

28 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Solomon Cook! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
23 - 9 - 1, fighting out of London, Irvine Kinneas! The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Shigeki Sano.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cook misses with a low kick. Kinneas throws a chopping leg kick but Cook manages to avoid taking any serious damage. Cook throws a nice head kick!
Kinneas tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Cook fails with an attempt to clinch.
Cook closes the distance and clinches. Cook avoiding damage.

Kinneas's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Cook fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

It looked like Cook was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. A quick step to the side and Cook tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Cook ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Kinneas lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Cook fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Solomon Cook seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Cook throws a right hand that Kinneas ducks under and follows up with a left that Kinneas also avoids with ease. Kinneas has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Cook. Kinneas staying out of range there. Kinneas connects with a jab. Cook misses with a straight left. Kinneas counters with a body kick. That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Cook crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Kinneas - the referee stops the clock and Cook gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Kinneas. Cook manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. Kinneas has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Cook. Cook throws a leg kick but Kinneas moved away. Kinneas misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
It appears Cook was looking to counter with a kick there.
And that's the end of the fight! Solomon Cook showed his dominance in that final round. I think Kinneas has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
