Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Tiago Carvalhais (ranked 7083 p4p, 627 weight class) and Math Mesa (ranked 7047 p4p, 624 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tiago Carvalhais!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Math Mesa!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Wesley Smith and Tiny Johnson.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carvalhais fails to land with a series of punches.
Tiago Carvalhais seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Carvalhais lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.

Carvalhais gets tackled into the cage by Mesa. Mesa maintains the clinch.
Carvalhais is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Mesa is defending well for now.
Carvalhais is pressed up against the cage. Mesa has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Carvalhais down to the mat. Carvalhais avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Mesa tries for a takedown but Carvalhais circles away easily
and Carvalhais counters with a series of strikes. Mesa will be more careful next time no doubt.
Carvalhais displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Mesa.
Tiago Carvalhais has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Math Mesa.
Carvalhais swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Mesa is looking for the big counter here.
Carvalhais cracks Mesa with a right hand to the side of the head.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Mesa fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Carvalhais manages to avoid it.
Mesa tries to clinch up.
Mesa shoots for a double leg takedown but Carvalhais sprawls well. He's pushed Mesa's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Carvalhais plants his feet and throws a 3 punch combo. Miss, miss, boom! The third punch, a big right hook, connects right on the temple and drops Mesa to the mat, unconscious! This fight is all over! Mesa just couldn't keep out of the way of the whole flurry of punches!

Tiago Carvalhais decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
